PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer member and an anti-shock protection device conducting a wide range of shock absorbing from a very large impact caused by a drop, etc., to a minor shock arising in everyday operations and/or its repetition.;SOLUTION: The buffer member s11 is composed of: a soft portion s111 approximately in a rectangular parallelepiped having a cushion property as making compressive deformation; and a sheet-form base material part s112 approximately in a rectangular shape having flexibility and formed from a resin material, wherein a slit is formed by giving a cut to midway with a surplus material portion W left approximately perpendicular from one surface of the soft portion, and the base material part is inserted into and attached to the slit formed in the soft portion. A comparatively weak impact is absorbed by the surplus material portion of the soft portion, while a large impact not absorbed by the surplus material portion is absorbed through interaction of the soft portion and the base material part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
