PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing dried Japanese butterbur, using the stem sections of raw Japanese butterbur, and producing green dried Japanese butterbur using an easy method, without having to adopt complex production processes or to use a specific drug solution.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the dried Japanese butterbur comprises using as the raw material, stem parts of raw Japanese butterbur, cutting the raw material into small pieces, drying the product under reduced pressure by continuously or intermittently performing microwave heating or far-infrared radiation heating, and if necessary, and crushing the dried Japanese butterbur thus obtained, by cutting with ventilating current and vacuum so as to bring into a powdery food.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
