PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board assembly capable of easily attaching a board holder to a circuit board and reducing the attaching parts of a clamp material disposed along the board circuit, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the board assembly.;SOLUTION: On the board holder 41, first and second vertical holder walls 43 and 44 for supporting the end face of the circuit board and a holding plate part for clamping a board attaching plate together with the board holder 41 are formed. For the holding plate part, a projection 42a is formed and a hole 33c to which the projection 42a is to be fitted is formed on the board attaching plate.
