PSOLUTION: In a method for forming TiAl intermetallic compound based alloy, under a state that a plate shaped TiAl intermetallic compound based alloy including Mn(manganese) or V (vanadium) is held in a vacuum or an inert atmosphere at 1,150C or higher to 1,250C or lower for a prescribed time, the alloy is hot-pressed by a die member of a hot press device to mold a recessed shape.
