DRIVE METHOD OF STEP MOTOR, ITS DRIVE CIRCUIT, AND VIBRATION MOTOR AND FAN MOTOR APPLIED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive method of a high-speed rotation step motor, its drive circuit, and a vibration motor and fan motor applied with it, for good start characteristics.;SOLUTION: The step motor comprises a 2-pole flat stator, a rotor consisting of a permanent magnet of 2-pole that is fixed to a rotor shaft, which is magnetically coupled with the 2-pole flat stator through a gap and gets still by a detent torque, and a drive coil. In the driving method of the step motor, a reference voltage of an amplifier constituting a rotor position detector can be set to be any of a first or m(2-n)th reference voltage for the amplifier. Further, the reference voltage of a comparator constituting the rotor position detector can be set to be any of a first or m(2-n)th reference voltage for the comparator. The reference voltage is set to be the first reference voltage for amplifier and the first reference voltage for comparator only at the start pulse having chopper pulse. There are also provided a drive circuit therefor, and a vibration motor and fan motor applied with the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
