PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a measuring result of a three-dimensional object in a visually easy form.;SOLUTION: An engine block, etc. is manufactured based on a master model prepared by a three-dimensional CAD device 10. The master model is converted into data, the data is supplied to a three-dimensional measuring machine program preparing device 12, a program for a measurement is prepared, and the measurement of the engine block is executed by the three-dimensional measuring machine 16. The three-dimensional measuring machine program preparing device 12 enlarges the measuring result (three-dimensional coordinate value) with an arbitrary magnification three-dimensional models, superimposes the result on the master model and displays the result. Since the measuring result is three-dimensionally displayed by a CAD, a user can easily visualize accuracy of the engine block.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
