PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory control apparatus for maintaining the reliability of data stored in a data storage apparatus, a method for updating a reliability determination period and a data writing method. PSOLUTION: When data are written in a flash memory in flash memory management processing which is performed by an information processing apparatus provided with the flash memory, a timer part, a temperature detection part, and a control processor, a reliability determination value is maximized, and every time a predetermined time elapses, a passage subtraction value is calculated based on an operation temperature and the passage subtraction value is subtracted from the reliability determination value to update the reliability determination value (S140). When a read request is outputted, a read subtraction value is subtracted from the reliability determination value to update the reliability determination value (S180). When the reliability determination value which is sequentially updated becomes a prescribed threshold or less, data are read out from the flash memory and the read data are written (S230).
