PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, by using a printing technology, a printed display body capable of easily displaying desired pictures, characters, or various patterns with high luminance by efficiently making use of the light emitted from a viewer side and, further, capable of imparting three-dimensional effects and textures (depth, contrast).;SOLUTION: The printed display body 100 has, at least on one face of a light transmissive substrate 1, a light diffusion layer 2 formed in a pattern, and emits light by the light from an edge light source 3. The light diffusion layer 2 is formed by a printing method using a printing ink for plastics composed of 10-40 wt.% of polymer fine particles whose average particle diameter is 3-20 μm and 90-60 wt.% of a transparent binder, and its haze is ≥90% and collimated light transmittance is ≤10%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
