PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model nonhuman animal nonresponsive to a lipoprotein/lipopeptide derived from mycoplasma, and to provide a method for screening materials for inhibiting or promoting response to the lipoprotein derived from the mycoplasma.;SOLUTION: The model nonhuman animal, for example, TLR6 knock out mouse having the chromosome deleting the gene function encoding the protein specifically recognizing the lipoprotein derived from the mycoplasma such as TLR6, etc., is created. The materials for inhibiting or promoting the response to the lipoprotein derived from the mycoplasma is screened by using the model nonhuman animal nonresponsive to the lipoprotein derived from the mycoplasma, or an immunocyte such as a macrophage derived from the model nonhuman animal, a specimen, and the lipoprotein derived from the mycoplasma, and measuring/evaluating the response of the model nonhuman animal or the immunocyte to the lipoprotein derived from the mycoplasma.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
