PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certify certain electronic information is disclosed on prescribed conditions on a network such as internet.;SOLUTION: A server provider B accesses the home page of a URL designated from a client A, copies the relevant home page, generates attribute information, which contains the URL and the IP address of the access source or the like, uniquely specifies the copy of the home page and that attribute information together with a data and time, acquires an electronic certificate to be verified and preserves it corresponding to the copy of the home page and the attribute information. This is repeated in a designated period. The client A can apply the provision of recording contents corresponding to the designated home page simultaneously with a demand or as needed. Corresponding to this application, the service provider B provides the preserved copy of the home page and attribute information and the electronic certificate to the client A. Besides, recording on publishing of a link to the designated home page in the WWW server of the service provider B and a period thereof is provided to the client A as a certificate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
