PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing method of a figure of an electrode for oscillatory electric discharge machining, which can draw a shape figure of the electrode by a simple method.;SOLUTION: The method is implemented by using a device 1 for drawing the figure of the electrode for the oscillatory electric discharge machining. The electrode is used for carrying out electrode discharge machining while performing oscillation. The device 1 is formed of an electrode foundation shape forming means 2 for drawing an electrode foundation shape 4 by transcribing a workpiece shape 3; an electrode foundation shape copying means 5 for transfer-copying the electrode foundation shape by a transfer quantity corresponding to an oscillation quantity in oscillatory conditions of the electric discharge machining in each of a plurality of transcribing directions corresponding to oscillation directions in the oscillatory conditions of the electric discharge machining; and an electrode intersection shape forming means 7 for forming an intersection shape 60 of a plurality of copied electrode shapes 6 copied by the electrode foundation shape copying means 5 as the shape figure of the electrode.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
