PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage derivative histories of a document without omission in regardless of the editing or duplication thereof in a document processing history management system. PSOLUTION: The document processing history management device 6 comprises a processing operation information receiving part 28 which receives information for a processing operation to a document that is a processing object; a version update part 30 which assigns, for each processing operation, new version information showing a derivative relation based on an original document in association with the document of the processing object regardless of the editing or duplication of the document; a recording part 32 which stores an image showing a document that is a processing result and operation history information based on the document of the processing object in association with the new version information assigned thereto by the version update part 30; and an operation history presentation part 38 which generates and presents, on condition of the receipt of a retrieval instruction, the operation history information of each document which has a derivative relation with a document to be retrieved.
