PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically stretch a slope plate and doubly fold the slope plate for storing in an erected posture.;SOLUTION: The vehicle boarding slope device for a wheelchair comprises a front plate 2 having the proximal end section 2a freely turnably attached to the lower end of a doorway G and connected with a driving means 16, and a rear plate 3 having the proximal end section 3a freely turnably attached to the distal end section 2b of the front plate 2. Then, one end 7a of a wire 7 is fixed to a cabin back side to be apart from a rotating shaft 6 at the proximal end section 2a of the front plate 2, and at the same time, the other end 7b is attached to the rear plate 3. The wire 7 is stretched on a pulley 8 which is arranged in a manner to protrude from the end surface of the end section 2b (3a) of the distal end section 2b of the front plate 2 or the proximal end section 3a of the rear plate 3. Thus, by simply tilting the front plate 2 by the driving means 16 from a state wherein the front plate 2 and the rear plate 3 being doubly folded are housed in the doorway G under a standing posture, the wire 7 becomes tense and pulls the rear plate 3 in a manner to be spread. Therefore, the front plate 2 and the rear plate 3 are automatically linearly stretched, and spans the gap between the doorway G and a road surface R.
