PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of improving the adhesive strength of sucralfate to a neutral mucosal upper stratal site in an anorectal region, in the vagina or in the urethra, promoting the persistence of protecting and therapeutic effects of an affected part and achieving the enhancement of healing effects by formulating sucralfate in a high ratio.;SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) 50-80 wt.% of sucralfate, (B) a pH adjustor (e.g. disodium citrate) in an amount effective in maintaining the mocosal upper stratal site at preferably pH 6-3 and preferably further (C) any one or more of a germicide (e.g. acrinol), an antiinflammatory agent (e.g. hydrocortisone acetate), a local anesthetic agent (e.g. dibucaine hydrochloride) and an antihistaminic agent (e.g. diphenhydramine hydrohloride).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
