PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing type rehabilitation apparatus capable of effectively supplying appropriate stimulation to the body of a disuse atrophy patient or the like and facilitating the work of putting the patient on and off the apparatus. PSOLUTION: The swing type for easily performing the work of putting the patient on and off the apparatus is constituted by swingably supporting a swing base 30 on a base 20 and providing a swing means for swinging the swing base. The swing base is provided with a gateway 31 for making a wheelchair get on and off and support parts 33 and 34 for fixing the wheelchair. For the swing means, elastic means 40 and 50 for energizing the swing base upwards or downwards are arranged between the base at either left or right and either front or back of the swing base for instance, and position control means 45 and 55 for changeably controlling the height of the swing base at the part against the elastic means are provided on the other of the left and right and the other of the front and back of the swing base.
