PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To download partial electronic book information segmented from an electronic book and to sequentially download the partial electronic book information as necessity to read the electronic book in order to reduce storage capacity and communication quantity.;SOLUTION: A server 12 comprises a registering process for registering electronic book information as a temporary electronic book, a segmentation process for segmenting partial electronic book information from the temporary electronic book registered in the registering process and a distribution process for distributing the partial electronic book information corresponding to a reading request from the client side to the client side.
