PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which is capable of correcting a burst error severer than a correction capability of an error-correcting code only by transmitting one packet without requiring a particular configuration for detecting periodicity of the burst error.;SOLUTION: A frame generating part generates a frame in which predetermined error-detecting encoding and error-correcting encoding processing is applied to data to be transmitted. A frame dividing part divides the generated frame into a plurality of predetermined units. A transmission control part generates a packet which repeats the plurality of divided frames predetermined times. A transmission part sends the packet to a transmission medium. A reception part receives the packet which is transmitted from a transmission side device via the transmission medium. A reception control part divides the received packet for the unit of a divided frame. A frame assembly part reconfigures a frame by assembling the divided frames in predetermined order.
