PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load controller of a water power station capable of suppressing fluctuation in the total output, when the number of operated generators is changed, of a water power station provided with a plurality of generators driven by a plurality of water wheels. PSOLUTION: The load controller of a water power station comprises a plurality of generators driven by a plurality of water wheels. It includes a load limit open degree detecting means for detecting load limit open degree of a load limit mechanism, a guide vane open degree detecting means for detecting open degree of a guide vane, and a control means which controls load distribution among a plurality of generators based on the detection signals from the load limit open degree detecting means and the guide vane open degree detecting means as well as a stop operation signal of a plurality of generators. The control means inputs a stop operation signal of a prescribed generator, and controls load distribution of another generator when the load limit open degree of the prescribed generator agrees with a guide vane open degree.
