PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate material distribution/temporary assembly in a process from cutting to final welding of members required for a small assembly panel in ship building.;SOLUTION: This method is for a material distribution/temporary assembly method for a small assembly panel in a ship building line. The position and attitude information of a base panel 10 on a transportation line and a part 12 distributed to the base panel 10 is obtained by an image recognition processing. Design CAD data are obtained through an identification mark attached to a member (the base panel and the part). A distribution position of the part 12 on the base panel 10 is set. A part 12 is picked up by a handling means 22 based on the position/attitude information to change to an installation attitude, and distributed on the base panel 10. A temporary welding machine 26 welds the part 12 to the base panel 10 temporarily.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
