PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation support system, an operation support device, a vehicle and a vehicle operation support method for making a vehicle safely stop before or pass through an intersection by avoiding a dangerous traveling region according to the traveling behavior of the vehicle. PSOLUTION: An onboard unit decides whether or not an own-vehicle is put in a dangerous traveling state determined by stop conditions for making the own-vehicle stop before an intersection and entry conditions for making the own-vehicle enter the intersection based on the distance to a stop line, the speed of the own-vehicle, the yellow signal start point of time and yellow signal time of a traffic light installed at the intersection. When it is decided that the vehicle is put in the dangerous traveling state, the onboard unit decides whether or not the own-vehicle stops before the intersection or passes the intersection based on a driving operation history. When making the vehicle stop, the onboard unit performs processing for making the vehicle decelerate by smooth deceleration, and when making the vehicle pass, the onboard unit performs processing for making the vehicle accelerate by smooth acceleration.
