On operational support server side of the TV conference system

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and speedily establish connections of many base PCs even when a number of base PCs attend a TV conference in a TV conference system utilizing a network line net.;SOLUTION: At a side of an operation supporting server 12 on a network line net 10, there are packaged a base information management function for storing and managing connection information of base PCs 14 and a connection supporting function for creating in response to an opening request, live camera information for bases, in which a connection destination for automatic connection is described, storing the created information into a folder for bases and deleting the live camera information in response to a closing request. At a side of the base PCs, there are integrated a monitoring function for periodically monitoring a folder for its own base of the operation supporting server to check presence/absence of the live camera information and a connection function which when live camera information is present, reads the live camera information, and opens/closes a viewer of each of described bases to make transmission/reception possible or to disconnect the base.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
