PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine cell ceramic structure, a ceramic filter and a photocatalytic ceramic filter which are inexpensive, lightweight, easily manufactured and have excellent transparency, and to provide a cleaning apparatus using the photocatalytic ceramic filter, and a manufacturing method for the photocatalytic ceramic filter.;SOLUTION: The fine cell ceramic structure is provided with a ceramic sponge like skeleton formed by sintering ceramic base powder, has ≤1 mm cross-link thickness of the skeleton, ≥95% porosity and 8.5-10 %/10 mm light transmittance and is formed by impregnating a prototype structure capable of being burnt out with clay slurry containing the ceramic base powder and sintering the prototype structure at 900-1,300°C. The photocatalytic filter 2 is formed by coating the fine cell ceramic structure with titanium oxide.
