PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler for an organism deodorization apparatus good in load resistance. PSOLUTION: An organism carrier 4 for supporting microorganisms having an odorous component decomposing function is held between facing plates 5 and 5. The plates 5 and 5 act as support members to a load on the organism carrier 4 acting in the direction along the surfaces of the plates 5 and 5. Therefore, the filler 3 having good resistance to the load can be obtained. Preferably, connection members 11 and 12 holding the organism carrier 4 and the plates 5 and 5 are provided.
