PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material and a packed bed for biological deodori zation which can be inexpensively and easily manufactured and are excellent in a shape retaining property and compaction resistance and to provide a biologi cal deodorizing apparatus using those. SOLUTION: The packing material for biological deodorization comprises an aggregate having a structure in which water absorbing synthetic fibers adhere to one another, the aggregate 2 may be cut into short lengths and part of each cut portion may be press-bonded 1. The packed bed for biological deodorization is an integral shaped body obtained by flatly arranging aggregates having a structure in which water absorbing synthetic fibers adhere to one another or the packed body is obtained by stacking such aggregates as partly press-bonded cut portions. The biological deodorizing apparatus has packed beds packed with the packing material for biological deodorization, sprinklers for sprinkling water over the packed beds and a gas flow inlet and outlet for feeding malodorous gas to the packed beds.
