PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove sufficiently liquid contained in chips or the like which are separated from liquid and conveyed and released from a conveyer for use in a coolant filter apparatus.;SOLUTION: An inclined slope for dropping the chips is mounted in the vicinity of a terminal end of the conveyer. The inclined slope is provided with a hopper to abut on a surface of the inclined slope, and the hopper like a movable barrier holds temporarily the chips or the like released from the conveyer. The hopper is intermittently opened with a lever, a toggle or the like mounted in a chain provided in a sprocket or a scraper at the terminal end of the conveyer, thus liquid is removed while the chips or the like is temporarily reserved on the inclined slope.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
