PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring mRNA of a human thymidylate synthase by which only human thymidylate synthase having activity can be measured.;SOLUTION: This method for measuring mRNA of the human thymidylate synthase comprises proliferating cDNA or mRNA of the human thymidylate synthase gene by using a nucleic acid which is hybridized with a full-length cDNA of human thymidylate synthase, but is not hybridized with a first variant cDNA in which an exon 2 and an exon 3 of the human thymidylate synthase gene are lost as a primer on the forward side and using a nucleic acid which is hybridized with a full-length cDNA of the human thymidylate synthase, but is not hybridized with a second variant cDNA in which an exon 4 of the human thymidylate synthase is lost as a primer on the reverse side and measuring the proliferated product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
