PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee filtering under the newest filter condition while reducing load of a mail relay system by transmitting a filter ID performed filtering to the mail relay system from a mail transmitting system, and by collating the transmitted filter ID with the newest filter ID in the mail relay system.;SOLUTION: The mail transmitting system 10 acquires the newest filter condition and filter ID at the time when the system transmits an electronic mail, performs filtering (procedure A), and transmits the filter ID to a mail relay system 20 after filtering. The mail relay system 20 acquires the newest filter ID at the time when the mail relay system 20 receives the filter ID from the mail transmitting system 10, compares these filter IDs, and sends back the result. The mail transmitting system 10 transmits the electronic mail to the mail relay system when the result of ID matching is sent back, and repeats from procedure A again when result of ID mismatching is sent back.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
