PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Kana-kanji conversion system which makes it unnecessary to have a predictive conversion dictionary especially, and can save a dictionary storage area. PSOLUTION: Reading printed in Kana beside Kanji constituted in a character input section 11 is carried out Kana-kanji conversion processor using information in a kana-kanji conversion dictionary 14 and a user learning dictionary 15 by a kana-kanji conversion processor 12, and candidates are displayed in a display unit 13.
