PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism having either property of the property of exhibiting antimicrobial activities against two or more plant pathogenic microbes, or the property of growing in the environment near to the growth environment of a plant such as a crop; and to provide a controlling agent capable of controlling diseases of the plant caused by two or more plant pathogenic microbes, an yeast of a fungus, an insect pest or the like.;SOLUTION: The microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus has an ability for suppressing the growth of the plant pathogenic disease. The controlling agent of an organism harmful to the plant contains at least one kind of the microorganism, a cultured product thereof and an extract thereof as an active ingredient. The method for controlling the harmful organism involves feeding at least one kind of the microorganism, the cultured product and the extract to a soil for growing the plant.
