PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new strain capable of proofing various plant diseases and insect pests and usable as a biological agrochemical.;SOLUTION: This new strain is Bacillus sp. D747 (FERM p-18128). Plant disease injury-proofing agents and pest-proofing agents each containing the strain as active fungi are also provided. The strain Bacillus sp. D747 is capable of very widely inhibiting outbreaks of various plant diseases and proofing insect pests by putting cultured products thereof (including viable fungi) or the viable fungi isolated after culture either on plants in the form of their roots, stems, leaves and/or seeds or in their cultivation soil. Thus, plants spread with the plant disease injury-proofing agents and/or pest-proofing agents have high proof effects against various plant diseases and insect pests.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
