PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling Anomala cuprea by using an effective microorganism and its spore case having spores and para spores, and having a controlling effect to the larva of an insect belonging to Scarabaeidae, especially Anaomala cuprea, and its controlling agent.;SOLUTION: This controlling agent for controlling the larva of the insect belonging to Scarabaeidae, contains any one kind or ≥2 kinds of microbial cells, preferably their spore cases containing spores and para spores or a composition containing the spore cases of Bacillus popilliae var. popilliae Mame strain, Bacillus popilliae var. popilliae Hime strain and Bacillus popilliae var. popilliae Sakura strain, which infect to the larvae of the Anomala cuprea, as an active ingredient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
