UV-induced mutation inhibitor and skin external preparation for UV-induced mutation suppression

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor of ultraviolet-induced mutation, safe to the skin and exhibiting excellent inhibiting effects on the ultraviolet-induced mutation, and to provide an external preparation for the skin for inhibiting the ultraviolet-induced mutation. PSOLUTION: The inhibitor of the ultraviolet-induced mutation contains one or more kinds of a chemical material having a monocyclic monoterpene basic skeleton represented by structural formula (1) and a chemical material having a linear monoterpene basic structure represented by structural formula (2) as active ingredients, especially one or more kinds of thymol, carvacrol, carvone, -terpinene, limonene, eucalyptol, -myrcene, geraniol and -citronellol as active ingredients. The external preparation for the skin for inhibiting the ultraviolet-induced mutation contains the inhibitor of the ultraviolet-induced mutation. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
