PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can predict the growth, the activity and the growth period of insects in a building or a room exactly and easily as much as possible, a system therefor and a recording medium to be used therein. SOLUTION: The growth, the activity or the growth period of insects in a building or in a room are predicted by using (1) a sensor that detects the temperature in a building or in a room, (3) a recorder for memorizing the detected data, (6) a processor in the main body of a computer (5) in which the memorized data are processed by using the temperature evaluation levels that are preliminarily defined according to the temperature ranges and the processed values are processed with the prediction levels of the insect growth and the activity, (7) a computer-readable recording medium in which the programs, data or the calculation formula are recorded, and (8) a transfer medium.
