A method to administer a sporting event sponsored by an Association, wherein the Association conducts a tournament and establishes a time period for the tournament. The method supplies a plurality of equipment items approved by the Association, wherein each equipment item recites a unique identifier and an Association trademark. An Association member enters the tournament by proffering at a tournament site an equipment item comprising an Association trademark. An Association member generates a score, that score is verified by an Association-approved referee, and the score is provided to the Association.
