dimethyl Formula 2, wherein the steroidal moieties are attached at the meta-position, and a process for preparing in one step from methyl (5.beta.) - 3,3-bis-1H-pyrrole-2-ylcholan-24-oate of the formula 1. Compounds they are useful for the production of electrochemical sensor and products serving as detectors and transmitters of selected substrates.
