The present invention relates to a method of improving glyphosate tolerance in a wheat plant. It also relates to a wheat plant cell, DNA and a pair of DNA primer molecules of a glyphosate tolerant wheat plant 33391. There is further described a method of detecting the presence of a DNA Molecule of a 33391 wheat plant in a sample, a method of breeding a glyphosate tolerant trait into wheat plants and a DNA detection kit. In addition to above, the invention also relates to a glyphosate tolerant wheat plant cell containing in a cell genome incorporated insert DNA molecule encoding EPSPS resistant to glyphosate and a DNA comprising SEQ ID No.5, SEQ ID No.6 or full complements thereof. In preferred embodiment, the wheat plant or parts thereof are produced by growing the wheat seed designated 33391 and having ATCC Accession No. PTA-2347.
