The subject of this invention is a synthetic polysaccharide including an antithrombin III binding domain consisting of a concatenation of five monosaccharide, whereas said concatenation supports a total of two carboxylic groups and at least four sulfo groups and said domain being directly bound at the non-reducing end by a thrombin binding domain including a concatenation of 10 to 25 monosaccharide units being selected from the group consisting of hexose, pentose or deoxy sugars of which all the hydroxyl groups are etherified by alkyl groups containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms or esterified in the form of sulpho groups, as well as salts and particularly pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
