The inventive purpose is aimed at providing a method for fabricating decorative parquet flooring to form a mosaic pattern and decorative parquet panel from parquet wood blocks sized from one to dozens square meters. A subject of the invention lies also in designing a parquet block, such block being a fragment of total image forms decorative parquet flooring from a set of such blocks. Parquet blocks are glued from wood pieces, the parquet blocks are produced as rectangular-shaped structures with two plane lateral opposite sides 1 and two opposite sides as alternating uniform-sized projections 2 and recesses 3. Recess 3 on one side meets projection 2 on the other side. Parquet blocks are laid on prepared floor base conjugating along one geometrical axis of adjacent parquet blocks by projections 2 and recesses 3, and along second geometrical axis, orthogonal to the first, by plane lateral sides.
