A fee collection device has antenna devices (4a, 4b, 4c) arranged corresponding to vehicle parking regions (3a, 3b, 3c) that are provided in a parking area (2) and emitting inquiry signals toward the vehicle parking regions (3a, 3b, 3c), and also has the parking management device (5) for performing information transmission and reception between itself and in-vehicle devices of vehicles parked in the vehicle parking regions (3a, 3b, 3c). The in-vehicle device of a vehicle receives an inquiry signal, and when the parking management device (5) receives information on the vehicle having this in-vehicle device, the parking management device (5) stores the information on the vehicle and a parking start time in an associated manner and collects parking fees at predetermined time intervals.
