TARGET SUBSTANCE EXTRACTION METHOD AND TARGET SUBSTANCE EXTRACTION APPARATUS

ABSTRACT The present invention provides an extraction method and an extraction apparatus, capable of selectively extracting a target substance from a treatment object with high efficiency without needing multistage extraction operations. The extraction method of the present invention comprises the steps of- bringing a high-pressure mixed fluid prepared by mixing a hydrophihc fluid component with a hydrophobic fluid component in a supercritical state or subcritical state beyond the respective solubihties into contact with a target substance-containing sohd treatment object to thereby extract a target substance contained in the treatment object to at least one of the hydrophilic fluid component and the hydrophobic fluid component; sorting a fraction based on the hydrophihc fluid component and a fraction based on the hydrophobic fluid component from the high-pressure mixed fluid; and separating the target substance from at least one of the fractions.
