The present invention is related to the modification in conventional two-for-one twisting machine for reduction in power consumption by reducing mechanical joints and applying floating bush bearing in spindle buster assembly. Instead of rolling element bearing, floating bush bearing, can use in spindle buster assembly for higher speed with low friction and high damping of vibration. The result of power consumption and vibrations reveals that about 12-18% reduction in power consumption and 15-25% reduction in vibration is possible for conventional two-for-one machine with the application of floating bush bearing and modification in traversing mechanism.
