Use of an anti-nerve growth factor antibody and an NSAID for the preparation of a medicament for treating pain

Disclosed is the use of an anti-nerve growth factor (NGF) antibody and an amount of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in the manufacture of a medicament for treating pain. The NSAID can be selected from ibuprofen, naproxen and diclofenac, among others. Further disclosed are kits for treating pain, and methods for treating pain in non-human animals by administering the medicament.
