Method for prediction of risk of development of cerebral complications in patients with essential arterial hypertension without insular diabetes through investigation of blood serum and determination of activity of factors of blood coagulation. Additionally in one sample of blood plasma one determines activity of protein C and antithrombin . At activity of factors of coagulation V, X higher than 140 % and 150 % , respectively, general activity of protein C within norm and decrease of activity of antithrombin III less than 88 % one predicts probability of development of cerebral complications.
