A method for the experimental modeling of erosive-ulcerating lesions of the gastric and duodenal mucosa in the experimental animals, namely rats, comprises the use of ammonia hydroxide as the product of metabolism in HP infection. The prepared 1-2% solution of ammonia hydroxide is administered to the stomach of fasted rats through the probe under light ether narcosis in a volume of 1-2 mL. Then the animals are deprived of fodder and water for further one day.
