METHOD FOR ASSESSING COMPLETENESS OF DESYMPATHIZATION IN THORACOSCOPIC SYMPATHECTOMY

A method for assessing the completeness of desympathization in thoracoscopic sympathectomy provides for the dissection of the sympathetic trunk followed by application of the electric current via the proximal stimulating electrode. The current is recorded by the distal electrode of the dissected trunk. The completeness of the surgery is assessed by the absence of the corresponding reaction.
