METHOD FOR FORECASTING AUTOIMMUNE COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH B-LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA

A method for forecasting the autoimmune complications in the patients with B-lymphocytic leukemia comprises the assay for the genes of high chains of immunoglobulins (IgVH) in peripheral B cells with the aid of the polymerase chain reaction. Based on the study of the genetic traits inherent solely to the leukemic cells, the group of the patients with the expression of IgVH3-11, IgVH1-69 and IgVH4-59 and high risk of the autoimmune complications is delineated (OR = 3.719).
