An apparatus for supplying an inner packaging material for packaging inner parts of a cigarette package, comprising a rotatable web roll (R) formed by winding a web for forming the inner packaging material. The web further comprises an aluminum foil and a paper layer laminated on the aluminum foil and containing menthol. The supplying apparatus further comprises a scraper roller (45) removing the menthol from the outer peripheral surface of the web roll (R), i.e., from the surface of the aluminum foil. The scraper roller (45) comprises, on the outer peripheral surface thereof, a plurality of scrapers (55) in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the web roll (R), and these scrapers (55) are formed of a felt material.
