Method for simulation of crack growth under cyclic loading, with the steps: a) preparing (10) a definition of a three-dimensional structure and a crack surface, flat or three-start, b) calculating (12) a section through the structure through a crack propagation, generated in the case of a non-planar crack generation (14) below the crack, first, an outline of the outer crack convex from surface of the crack towards the structure, and generating below the edges of the contour of the crack additional triangles until there is a triangulation cut completely structure, c) determining (22) a new crack front, determining values voltage under cyclic loading by means of a finite element, and applying a law of advance of the cracks, d) triangulating (32) of continuous crack, and e) repeating (34) of the steps b) to e) until it has met a predetermined end condition.
