A Coriolis gyro (1') has a first and a second resonator(70 1, 70 2), which are each in the form of a coupledsystem comprising a first and a second linearoscillator (3 1, 3 2, 4 1 and 4 2), in which case the firstresonator (70 1) together with the second resonator (70 2)can be caused to oscillate in antiphase with respect toone another along a common oscillation axis (72). Asystem which is coupled in this way has the advantagethat it is possible to measure the rotation rate andaccelerations simultaneously, and that it isinsensitive to disturbance influences, for exampleexternally or internally acting vibrations.
