A storage device writes a management information table for managing addresses into which data are written by dividing the table in a page unit. The device is provided with a writing part (3) for writing a page obtained by coping a final page of the management information table after writing the management information table divided in the page unit, an acquiring part (4) for acquiring the final page and the page obtained by copying the final page which are written in the writing part (3), and a judging part (5) for judging success or failure in writing of the management information table either by comparing the final page and the page having been obtained by copying the final page which are acquired in the acquiring part (4), or by recognizing presence or absence of writing of the page having been obtained by copying the final page by the writing part.
